Karan Johar is remaking his dad’s Yash Johar’s blockbuster hit ‘Agneepath’ starring Amitabh Bachchan in the lead. Kjo has roped in Hrithik Roshan and Sanjay Dutt to play the protagonist as well as the antagonist respectively that was played by Danny Denzongpa in the original.
The audience is eagerly awaiting the release of the film which Hrithik revealed is on January 13, 2011. However, people who have seen the Bachchan starrer may not really like the remake as this is what had happened when Farhan Akhtar made ‘Don’. People actually cannot get over the legend that Mr. Bachchan is.
However, Hrithik is quite a big star in his own league and we hope that the film if not better is as good as the original. Karan has called in international technicians to make a perfect film and he says that this ‘Agneepath’ will be different as it will be his take on the film.
Now it remains to be seen that how much justice this master of candy floss films does to a new genre.
